From Mountain Peaks to Seattle Streets….
Mt. Rainier Adventure Session — Anitha & Rahul
This is what adventure sessions are all about — breathtaking views, a mountainside all to yourself, and a sunrise that hits just right.
When Anitha and Rahul said they were up for a hike, we knew exactly where to take them — one of their favorite hidden spots in Mount Rainier National Park. Anitha had picked out a flowing dress just for this shoot, and she couldn’t have chosen better. We set out on the trail a couple of hours before sunrise.
The day began quietly at 3:00 AM in their Seattle home. The forest outside was still asleep, and the only sounds were the coffee brewing and the low hum of anticipation. Anitha slipped into her dress slowly, while Rahul packed the gear — calm, grounding moments before the adventure began.
As we drove through the mountain roads, the car sliced through thick fog. At first, we worried about visibility, but soon the fog began to roll over the hills in the most cinematic way.
We almost stopped to take photos a few times on the hike up, but persistence paid off. When we finally reached the overlook, it opened up to the most breathtaking view of Mt. Rainier and the Cascades. The light, the air, and the stillness were perfect.
Anitha and Rahul were incredible — playful, trusting, and willing to climb right to the edge of a steep drop-off for those once-in-a-lifetime shots. Their chemistry was undeniable, and the mountain seemed to echo it back.
After wrapping up our mountaintop shoot, we took a break for lunch and drove back into the city to catch the evening light at the Seattle Space Needle, Pier 69, and a few of their favorite corners of the city. From mountain peaks to city streets — the day was the perfect blend of adventure, love, and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
We spent a wonderful day exploring San Francisco together, capturing laughter, warmth, and connection at every turn. I can’t wait to share more from their upcoming wedding day in HYDERABAD — stay tuned!
