About Travel, Places, Coffee and Love

The Story:

A beautiful girl traveling from Mumbai to Hyderabad met a charming guy at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai and the rest of the story is worth a love inspired novel.

The Beginning:

The story begins in November 2017, with our groom Yaji who is shy but ambitious, notice's our attractive and cute bride Apoorva in the airport and starts a conversation with a casual

"Hi, Are you traveling to Hyderabad too" and as fate had plans for them their flight gets delayed over an hour; only to give him enough time to impress Apoorva leading to exchanging of contact numbers.

The Journey:

The first interaction while traveling together to Hyderabad, led to a series of dates later in Mumbai, only to learn and understand each other to realize they make each other better. In the words of the bride's friends, Apoorva is insanely adorable, warm welcoming and people can’t stop but loving her for these attributes. Yaji though is a man of limited words but is clear about his wants and strive's to get to them. They feel the way both Yaji and Apoorva manage each other is the most romantic thing they have known of.

Weddingscapes team managed to sneak in and strike a conversation with the bride, while she was wearing her jewelry in the process of getting ready for the wedding and learn about their endearing journey. All the while capturing beautiful expression’s and ended up putting a smile on the bride’s face, but also making some memorable images.

Brides are usually cynosure not just for the groom on the wedding day but to friends and family on her wedding day. Apoorva deserves to be complimented for the minutest attention to detail that can go into making her look at the best.

We at Weddingscapes love to encapsulate the fuzzy moments of getting ready to capture details that get masked due to the paucity of time right from the make-up, the wedding dress, bridal jewellery and any other detail that should stand out. As it is a day of serious labor of love and every bride wants to be basking in the glow of her wedding. Well, this day is not just about the glitter, it is about the bride too our monochrome portraits just do that capturing the pure emotions.

Between 3 years of courting each other and finally deciding on tying the knot, they were separated for 2 and a half years by distance living in different cities in fact countries. So travel actually became an important part of their story. The secret behind the success of their relationship in Apoorva's words is the way Yaji convinced her when he had to move to London by telling her, "Let's not call it Long Distance and just a relationship”. They talked about where they meet next, what will we do, etc., leading to quite a bit of travel.

The Proposal:

On the day Yaji proposed while talking about letting his parents know about their relationship, he asked "Apoorva before I do that, I wanna ask you if you wanted to marry me, because if I tell them they are gonna say marry her", taking her by surprise with the simplicity in his popping the question. Exactly opposite to what Apoorva was expecting it to be.

The Confession’s:

As per Apoorva, the best thing about Yaji is “he loves her a lot” giggle's… that aside he understands her in and out and has a way to tell her thing's even while he knows she may not pay attention it, without hesitation. That's when she knew he is her man.

In Yaji's words, the best thing about Apoorva is her ability to make a connection with people she meets. She has a strong belief system and she never back's off if she believes in something making it her best attribute as an individual.

Getting married is a big step but in the words of Yaji, it was a very natural progression for them and part of their journey. But marrying the one who knows you in and out is the best thing ever. In a way, Apoorva and Yaji are like a couple meant to be together if we believe that marriages are made in heaven, and their wedding was a celebration in a way for all their friends and family!

Thankfully, we were a witness to this beautiful story culminating in a festive wedding.

We are happy to have been their preferred wedding photographer and capture the essence of the wedding.

Apoorva’s wedding saree and jewellery weren’t just elegant they reflected her personality and style. Yaji managed to hold his style with a smart well made traditional Sherwani with Zardosi embroidery.
